ETEE Annual Conference, Schools for the Future Europe, 3/4 June 2010

SCHOOLS FOR THE FUTURE EUROPE

Please find attached the outline programme for our annual Conference to be held on 3/4 June 2010, at Rewley House, Kellogg College, University of Oxford. It will be a critical moment for European questions, not least for education.

We are writing to you and other people in a selection of schools, associations and institutions which have an interest in bilingual European education, in the European dimension of inter-cultural dialogue, and in curriculum development for Europe in the future world. We very much hope you will wish to take part. The conference is intended also to help build UK and Europe-wide networks for those teaching in bilingual modes.

We hope to bring together a good balance of practitioners and researchers in a working conference, to address practical issues and developments.

Please alert your colleagues to the Conference, and by all means use the attachment as a staffroom poster, to ensure those interested have the dates in their diary. We are now inviting preliminary responses and comments, which can be made to the conference page on our website www.etee.org.
