- Why are you interested in bilingual education?
- I have spent the last ten years of my career researching and developing CLIL pedagogies. I am a CLIL teacher educator and am currently involved in many CLIL networks and programmes across Europe.
- What's your experience on bilingual education?
- I have extensive experience of CLIL in the UK where for the language of learning is not English. In particular I am keen to promote CLIl in French, German and Spanish as well as in English.

We met them at APAC and for what they said we thought they had already contacted you. I'll try and find out tomorrow since I don't have their e-mails here!!
By the way, when we had the Skype conference last week, David mentioned that you had sent a note about your being unable to attend the meeting and that you were mentioning that you would not be able to come to Barcelona. were you refering to Blanquerna?

Thank you for getting back to me. I'm afraid I still have to get myself a webcam, but I'll let you know as soon as I do, as of course I'd love to have a chat with you. Soon I'll be uploading the survey I mentioned on the "Teachers' Needs..." group. I'll keep you posted.

With your interest in Technology and pedagogy, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
I've been trying to reach you on your e-mail account at university, but the message bounces back, and I have a request to make. I teach EFL for Adults at a "Escuela Oficial de Idiomas" in Madrid, and I'm doing research project on "Teachers' Needs in Language Development"; thus the discussion group I started here.
After carrying out interviews with the bilingual-project coordinators at 22 schools, I'm designing a survey to be sent to individual teachers. I'm using the "CLIL Competences Grid" from CLIL Cascade Network to select from there the competences that could be most relevant, according to the info from interviews.
I've also been reading some of your work, including your article "Content and Language Integrated Learning - Motivating Learners and Teachers ". Since it's an extract from the "CLIL Teachers Tool Kit: A Classroom Guide", and it says it is available from you, I would be really interested in this guide.
Of course, if you might be at all interested in hearing about my findings, I'll be pleased to let you know.
